Salary Range: $9.58 - $9.96 per hour, DOE         
Hours: On-Call, Varies.

Primary Purpose:  Work with 20 children ages 3-4 in a classroom setting. Assist with mealtime, project time and indoor and out door playtime supervision. Then move to the infant center to cover breaks for staff- mealtime and clean up, diaper changing and rocking babies. Watch over sleepers.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  1. On-call readiness is a requirement of the position.
  2. Work well in a team atmosphere
  3. Take direction from the Director and senior staff
  4. Serve meals
  5. Cleaning of the space
  6.  The ability to swing from one setting to another on a daily basis
  7. Be flexible with changes in hours and or settings each day.

Knowledge/Skills/Experience Required

        Level 1 Step 1 Employee with some experience working in a childcare or school setting one year or more and preferably in the last 5 years.

Work Environment:

  1. Geographic Area:  Reedsport, OR
  2. Primary job site: Highland Elementary and The Family Resource Center
  3. May lift items up to 51 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations.

Other:

  1. Licenses: A current Oregon Drivers License is required.
  2. A good driving record is necessary.
  3. Proof of automobile liability insurance.
  4. Reliable transportation
  5. Must be drug free.
  6. Must be able to pass the State of Oregon Criminal Background Check or
  7. Must be able to pass mandated Oregon Employment Department Child Care Division Criminal History Registry Background Check

Position also requires within 30 days of employment:

        Food Handlers Card

        1<sup>st</sup> Aide/CPR Certification
